What usage is
Usage is measured in dollars, not messages. A small change costs cents of it; a big one costs more. Most sites use a fraction of the $200 once they're settled.
If you run low
Patch tells you in the thread and offers another $50 of usage. Nothing is added unless you say yes. Your website stays up either way.
The record
Every message and every generated photo is one line on a usage ledger with what it cost. That ledger is the record; ask to see yours any time.

What does the managed plan include? +
Hosting for your site, Patch on call, Taylor on call, and $200 of usage a month ($600 in your first month). Routine changes are included: dates, hours, wording, photos, menu items, new pages of the kind you already have. A full redesign or a big new feature (a store, a booking system, a members area) is quoted separately as a project.
What counts as usage? +
What the AI actually consumed doing your changes, measured in dollars. A small change costs cents of it, a big one costs more. It's the same number Patch shows you when you ask "how much have I used this month?"
What happens when I run low? +
Patch tells you in the thread and offers another $50 of usage. Nothing is added unless you say yes. Your website stays up either way. Unused allowance doesn't roll over; usage you buy doesn't expire.
Is there a setup fee? +
No. The first month's bigger allowance is where the build happens. There is a 3-month minimum so a site doesn't get built for one month's fee and walk.
Refunds? +
The monthly is billed in advance and isn't refunded for a partial month. Usage you buy is non-refundable, including unused balance when the engagement ends. If you think a usage entry is wrong, say so within 30 days and Taylor reviews it against the log of what Patch did.
What does a self-serve build include? +
A complete site or store, built the same way as a managed one, with Claude set up on your own computer and account so you make the day-to-day changes yourself. Quoted as a fixed price after a conversation; from $1,500. The $99 monthly keeps the setup current and Taylor on standby.
What happens when I leave? +
Your site's repository is transferred to a GitHub account you control, with instructions for keeping the site and domain up, and your numbers are removed from the service. The ability to change the site by text ends with the service; the site doesn't.
Who am I paying? +
Plateful LLC, Taylor's company, through Stripe. The statement says PATCHLAMP.
