Patchlamp

Creatives and solo pros · Utah

Your Instagram is not a website. Text Patch and you have one.

Photographers, personal trainers, tutors, music teachers, dance studios, cake makers, florists, event planners, wedding DJs.

One page of your work with a line each, who you are and how to reach you. Text a photo and say put this one first. An inquiry form that lands on a private page only you open, so nobody is left waiting.

It's AI, with someone on the hook. Taylor Remund runs it, in Utah, and answers for every change.

What we found

We checked every solo professional, creative and instructor Google lists from Ogden to Santaquin.

How we know: A census of 6,672 Google-listed businesses from Ogden to Santaquin, 33 categories across 14 cities, chains taken out; each one's website link was then opened and classified (none, a social page, a directory profile, a dead link, a free builder address, or a site of its own). The city is the one whose search found the business first. Figures as of 2026-09-28; the group with no site of its own is younger and smaller than average — a median of 8 Google reviews against 45 for the ones with a site.

What we find

These are the lines, word for word.

Nothing here is written by a model. Each sentence is computed from what Google shows, by the same rules whether it comes off the Saturday list, out of a message, or off the page where you can check your own.

Where the website link goes

  • 215 no website on Google
  • 60 the website link is a Facebook page, not a site of their own
  • 54 the website link is a business.site page, and Google shut those down in 2024: it's a dead link
  • 25 the website is a free Wix address (example.wixsite.com)

The counts are this group's, as of 2026-09-28.

What the listing itself shows

  • no hours on Google
  • no photos
  • Google shows a street address, not the area they serve
  • no phone on Google
  • only 3 photos
  • a 2★ review 3 weeks ago
  • newest review is 16 months old

Read live from Google when you check a business, not from the census.

52% of couples say responsiveness is what makes them trust a vendor. (The Knot Real Weddings Study, 2026, read 2026-09-28.)

The one built for this

Portfolio: a real site, live right now.

One person's work: an illustrator, a photographer, a maker. It comes with:

  • One page: the work with a line each, who you are, how to reach you

The business in the demo is made up. The site is real, on the same setup a client gets, and it goes back to its golden copy every night.

Change it yourself

All 6 plans, side by side, are on /pricing. No setup fee on any of them. How that compares to an agency, a builder and doing nothing.

Before you say yes

Straight answers.

I already post everything on Instagram.

Keep it. A site of your own is what Google can send people to, and 60 of the businesses we checked have a Facebook or Instagram page where their website should be.

Can people book and pay me on it?

A form or a booking page that lands on a private page only you open, yes. Card payments go to your own Stripe account once you connect it; that part is being switched on.

I do not want it to look like a template.

Text Patch what to change and it changes. That is the whole idea: the site is never finished, it is just current.

More of them on how it works. The other four: Home and field services, Makers and pickup retail, Nonprofits, churches and leagues, restaurants.
