"Sold out of sourdough — take it down." Text it from the market and it is down.

Bakeries and cake makers, boutiques, custom furniture, nurseries, farm stands, bike shops.

What you sell with prices, your pickup hours, a basket and checkout through Stripe paid to your own account, and the orders on a private page only you open. A real photo by text.

It's AI, with someone on the hook. Taylor Remund runs it, in Utah, and answers for every change.

What we found

We checked every maker, baker and small shop Google lists from Ogden to Santaquin.

of them — 220 businesses — have no website of their own: 164 none at all, 14 a dead link, 34 a Facebook or Instagram page standing in for one, 7 a free builder address.

How we know: A census of 6,672 Google-listed businesses from Ogden to Santaquin, 33 categories across 14 cities, chains taken out; each one's website link was then opened and classified (none, a social page, a directory profile, a dead link, a free builder address, or a site of its own). The city is the one whose search found the business first. Figures as of 2026-09-28; the group with no site of its own is younger and smaller than average — a median of 8 Google reviews against 45 for the ones with a site.

What we find

These are the lines, word for word.

Nothing here is written by a model. Each sentence is computed from what Google shows, by the same rules whether it comes off the Saturday list, out of a message, or off the page where you can check your own.

Where the website link goes

  • 164 no website on Google
  • 34 the website link is a Facebook page, not a site of their own
  • 14 the website link is a business.site page, and Google shut those down in 2024: it's a dead link
  • 7 the website is a free Wix address (example.wixsite.com)

The counts are this group's, as of 2026-09-28.

What the listing itself shows

  • no hours on Google
  • no photos
  • Google shows a street address, not the area they serve
  • no phone on Google
  • only 3 photos
  • a 2★ review 3 weeks ago
  • newest review is 16 months old

Read live from Google when you check a business, not from the census.

Opening hours are the first thing shoppers look for (51–53% of them), and 26% of people turn up at the wrong time at least once a month because the hours were wrong. (BrightLocal, 2023, read 2026-09-28.)

The one built for this

Store: a real site, live right now.

Things for sale that people pick up from you. It comes with:

  • What you sell, with prices, and a basket
  • Checkout through Stripe, paid to your own Stripe account
  • Your pickup hours
  • The orders on your /admin page

The business in the demo is made up. The site is real, on the same setup a client gets, and it goes back to its golden copy every night.

Before you say yes

Straight answers.

A website is not really for my kind of business.

It is for your hours and your list. Of the 1,001 makers and shops we checked, 220 have no site of their own — and hours are the first thing their customers go looking for.

Do you take a cut of what I sell?

No. Checkout runs on your own Stripe account and the money is yours; we never take a percentage of a sale.

What if I change the list every week?

That is what the number is for. Text it and it is live, usually in about a minute.

More of them on how it works. The other four: Home and field services, Solo professionals and creatives, Nonprofits, churches and leagues, restaurants.

Want to know what's wrong with yours?
