If you want to leave, Patch helps you leave.
Tell him. He asks why once, offers once to pass it to Taylor, and then gets out of your way. Everything that's yours comes back in one file, in the same conversation, and it never waits on your answer.
What you get back
One file, everything in it.

Your site
Every file of it as a zip that opens anywhere, and the same site with its whole history. On request the repository moves to a GitHub account you control.

Your database
If your site keeps a list (bookings, customers, orders, stock), every table of it as CSV and JSON.

Your mailing list
Everyone on it, as a CSV any newsletter service can import.

Your conversations
Everything you and Patch said, with the photos you sent, as one page that opens in any browser.

What Patch knows
His notes on your business and the list of what he ran for you on his own, as plain files you can read.

What runs where
A page that says where your site is served, where its database lives, and the lines to change at your registrar to point your domain somewhere else.
What was always yours
Nothing to get back, because we never held it.
- Your domain. You bought it and it's registered to you. Point it wherever you like; if you'd rather not touch the settings, Taylor changes them with you.
- Your Stripe account. If you take payments through Patch, it's your own account, in your name. Nothing about it changes when you leave.
- Your site stays up. We keep serving it at its address for thirty days after the handover, so there's no gap while you move it.
How it goes
Four texts, at most.

Text Patch I want to leave, or CANCEL. He answers: “No problem, I can help you with that. May I ask why?” That's the only question.

Whatever the reason, one offer: “If you'd like, I can pass this to the founder and he'll work to make it right. Want me to?” Your files come in the same message: attached on Telegram and Discord, and on your account page under Your files.

Say yes and Taylor reaches out himself. Making it right means fixing the thing, not a discount. Say no, or nothing, and that's the end of it.

The cancel: Patch shows you the date your plan ends, or in your first month the refund by formula, and your YES does it. No cancellation fee.
If your plan doesn't include Patch, or this month's usage has run out, you still get all of it: the cancel and the files come without a run. Just want your files, and not to leave? Ask Patch for them any time. The terms have the rest.
